  4. What will you have to pay us for our services?
    • Insurance
      • No Fee.
    • Mortgages
      • A fee of £95 payable on application to arrange your mortgage. The total fee shall not exceed 1.5% of the mortgage amount. We will receive commission from the lender in addition to the fees you pay.

        Example (for illustrative purposes only)
        If your mortgage is for £100,000, there will be a total charge of £95 which equates to 0.095% of the loan payable on application.

  7. Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensaion Scheme (FSCS)?
    • We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances the claim.
    • Insurance
      • Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.
    • Mortgages
      • Mortgage advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £30,000 and 90% of the next £20,000 of the claim so the maximum compensation is £48,000.
